Position Overview: As the IT Administrator, you will play a key role in overseeing the organization's information technology operations. You will be responsible for implementing technology solutions and ensuring the overall functionality and security of our IT infrastructure. Essential Job Functions:

  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor IT team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance and support for team members in their day-to-day activities.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Align IT strategies with overall business objectives and growth plans.
  • Network and Systems Management:
  • Oversee the administration and maintenance of computer networks, servers, and systems.
  • Ensure the optimal performance, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage and coordinate IT projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard information and data.
  • Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Technology Implementation:
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement technology solutions aligned with organizational goals.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and assess their applicability to business needs.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Collaborate with vendors for hardware and software procurement.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Budget Oversight:
  • Manage the IT budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
  • Provide regular reports on IT expenditures and budget performance.
  • User Support and Training:
  • Develop and implement user support strategies to address end-user issues promptly.
  • Coordinate IT training programs to enhance user proficiency and technology adoption.
  • Documentation and Policies:
  • Maintain documentation for IT processes, configurations, and policies.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures for compliance and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to understand IT needs.
  • Communicate IT strategies and updates effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Other Job Duties:
  • Perform any other duties as required or assigned by direct supervisor or upper management.

Required Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and security protocols.

· Strong project management, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.

· Ability to work independently and lead a collaborative team.

Working Conditions:

Environment

  • Office environment with occasional interruptions
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Evening and/or early morning, and/or weekend and holiday hours periodically
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required, ability to adapt to varying schedules based on business needs that maybe out of the typical normal schedule that is assigned
  • Ability to work remote with management approval
